About The Creators…
James Larsen – Frankie / Writer
Frankie & Igor: Live From The Dead is the brainchild of multidisciplinary artist James Larsen, whose love of big band jazz, offbeat comedy, and spooky stuff has finally coalesced in this strange and surprising show! James’ notable artistic accomplishments include developing several live entertainment offerings for The Walt Disney Company, co-writing an original musical (that has been produced in Boston and Nashville), co-writing two original comedic plays (which have received professional readings in New York and Los Angeles), and directing a sold-out run of Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins. As a professional actor and singer, James’ career has given him the opportunity to perform in stage shows at some of the most renowned entertainment destinations on the planet, including Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Universal Studios Japan, Walt Disney World, and Universal Studios Hollywood. James is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and the American Guild of Variety Artists.
Noel Melanio – Igor / Music
The musical mayhem of Frankie & Igor: Live From The Dead has been resurrected by symphonic psycho, Noel Melanio! Since 2004, Noel has had the privilege of touring extensively as the music director/pianist for renowned comedy band, Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine, as well as recording 19 albums with the group (15 studio, 4 live). Noel’s additional musical accomplishments include arranging and recording music for the LEGO Batman Movie, arrangements for Army of the Dead (Netflix), co-writing the original song “I Love Boobies” for Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar (Lionsgate), and performing in the house bands for Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Las Vegas) and The Daytime Emmy Awards. Noel’s expertise in themed entertainment is bolstered by his considerable performance experience as a pianist, harpsichordist, keyboardist, bassist, and – last, but not least – accordionist at the Disneyland Resort (2012 – present).
